Sanguine Style is a weekly newsletter written by Paul McLauchlan that offers an insider’s look into the minds of tastemakers shaping fashion, design, food, and travel today. It features thoughtful interviews and curated guides. Each issue explores stylish living and concludes with a dispatch of news and releases that you might have missed but shouldn’t have.
The first issue will be published on Friday, April 18, at 9 AM.
In Issue #1, I chat to Clodagh Shorten, the owner of Samui, an independent luxury boutique, who reflects on 24 years of running one of the leading destination stores in Ireland.
Elsewhere in Cork City, Aishling Moore emerges as one of the most important voices in food. Her restaurant, Goldie, is one of the hottest reservations in the city. Aishling shares her food philosophy and tells her story of opening a seafood restaurant as a 24-year-old.
The artist Niamh O’Malley transports us to Milan, where her latest exhibition, ‘holds’, is on view at Artopia Gallery. Niamh discussed the exhibition, how art institutions belong to the public and the importance of the spectator, and she shared some travel advice.
